We're the Kind of People

It's strange how someone can have so much soul and do something so well and still not get the recognition he deserves. Johnny Paycheck was a singer/songwriter who most wouldn't know if he hadn't recorded that David Allan Coe song "Take This Job and Shove It." Country music is lucky he never gave up his job - writing some of the best stone cold country songs ever, including this one, which he wrote with another great songwriter, Aubrey Mayhew. They're the kind of people that make the jukebox play!
