Biography

Born in Rome, Italy and now aged 32, Valerio Mattei is a songwriter, piano/guitar player, singer, entertainer with over 2000 gigs in Italy and Europe in the last two decades.

Spontaneous and brilliant live performer, he knows how to entertain the audiences in his live concerts with elegance by offering an extremely wide repertoire including covers from many major artists like Sting, The Beatles, Sinatra, Jeff Beck and many others.
Plus, he is one the few – if not the only - male singers
currently performing a steady tribute to Amy Winehouse, with a very personal and deep emotional impact.

VML – Valerio Mattei Live is the name of the weekly show in which Valerio Mattei performs live every Monday at 8.45 pm – Italian Time CET - on www.valeriomattei.com

His first solo album “Alphais an intense work filled with many and various influences from Valerio’s best musical background.
