Biography
Once two kids growing up in Fargo ND, Matt Jacobs and Ted Larsen got together to form a local blues band. They had some great years of getting down before taking individual musical paths. Matt went to Chicago to soak up the immense blues scene, enjoying the greats like Otis Rush and Jimmy Johnson. Ted enjoyed accolades of success in a solid group with Fargo native Jonny Lang, then honed his craft for 10 years with The Lamont Cranston Band.

Fast forward a few decades and these two rediscovered that old magic, along with Freddy Montoya and Rolexx. Together they make up Vivian Hayes & the Hi-Praise.
