As A Man Thinketh
My arrangement of a poem written by James Allen circa 1900, along with a Biblical proverb for the chorus. James Allen was a peer of Emerson, Wattles, and Thoreau, who were all early meta-physicists who attempted to apply scientific laws to nature and human existence without discounting or excluding spiritual truth, specifically "Christian" teachings at that time. Being a man in constant search of truth and meaning, this poem resonated with my heart, so I quickly memorized it, and vowed to share it with as many folks as possible during my lifetime, with the hope that they would experience the same life-changing effect from learning it and meditating on it as I have.
