Biography
Introduction:
The members of Asphalt Messiah hail from different points of the country, but all bring something special to the table collectively. This diversity has allowed them to create music that brings "ALL PEOPLE" to the same concert hall. Their racial diversity is their strength and is a true representation that we can all achieve great things together. The band members consistently work with inner-city youth to promote drug free awareness and the importance of education. Asphalt Messiah can routinely be seen performing charity events for our US Military personnel.
THE ASPHALT MANIFESTO:
Asphalt Messiah speaks to us ALL, NOT JUST the FEW. So, we have come together like 'VOLTRON' to spit the Truth in a language that we "ALL" have been waiting to understand.
The sweat, blood and tears of struggle, pain, and oppression are the elements infused in our musical expression. It is the "SINGLE SOUL of OUR HUMANITY" that annihilates the destructive insanity of racism, sexism, and all that divides, and is what creates a harmony in our music and all of our lives!
We challenge you to every single day, stand together with your brother and sister of a different race. Be accountable for the things you do, and always, always speak the truth at the Asphalt level.
ASPAHLT MESSIAH: Marrying Rock, Hip/Hop and Courting R&B. Breaking Racial Stereotypes with a New Sound, Unique Blends, Driving Rhythms and Strong Melodies.
"A BAND TO BE HEARD FOR ALL PEOPLE"

They have opened for Hip Hop legend Warren G, at Busby's in LA, headlined at the IRON CIRCUS, Rocked the Marines "Toys For Tots", played to a sold out crowd at the Whiskey A-Go-Go on the Sunset Strip where they opened for the Platinum recording group P.O.D.

The new single "Don't Forget the Fallen", released July 2011, by veteran LA Rock Band Asphalt Messiah is now complete with music video. The music video pays tribute not only to all military personnel worldwide, but to the ones who stayed behind, taking jobs to support their families. "I thought that was an important part of the tribute when making the video" stated Kacy Jones, Founder and Lead Guitarist. When service personnel leave for duty they leave behind families, mothers, brothers, wives, husbands and so on. We wanted to make sure their sacrifices were included as well."
"As history reflects, and for those who remember those times, many of the ones left behind had to take jobs they were unprepared for working long hours at difficult jobs just to keep food on the table. Being from a military family and seeing that from my own life experiences made me a part of who I am today, and I for one am forever grateful for the sacrifices of all our military personnel and their families. They are the reason we can sleep at night, enjoy the liberties and rights we enjoy as Americans", stated Jones.
