Biography
Many Artists struggle to establish their Musical Identity, laboriously trying on different musical styles, like a piece of clothing trying to find what fits. But there are others that emerged fully formed, in full command of their craft, their identity and their music.
Louise Gains fits firmly in the latter category. Her unique and unequalled soul sound is captivating and moving.
Her enchanting and bewitching manner of delivering a performance never fails to send an arrow straight through one’s heart and pulls on the strings of the core of one’s inner being.

From as early as 4 years of age, Louise was influenced by legendary artist such as Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Aretha Franklin. “I grew up with a lot of soul music being played by my mother. I naturally gravitate to that kind of sound; there’s a warmth and timelessness to it that I’ve always loved.”

At the tender age of 12, Louise participated in The Northampton and Rushden Festivals. She explains” Being able to perform to huge crowds at such a young age really prepared me for the bigger opportunities which were to come my way”.

Louise entered numerous Song Festivals, both in UK and abroad, bringing home the most prestigious Gold Trophies, namely the International Golden Stag and The International Festival of European Music.

After moving to Hampshire Louise became a household name when she performed in 2 Musicals “South Pacific and Little Shop Of Horrors, “ I always had a love for acting and dancing as well as singing, so being able to fulfill those dreams and to be a part of a huge professional production was a great achievement.”

Soon after, the pieces began to fall into place. Louise had the opportunity to sing at the Jazz Café at Madjeski Stadium in Reading. Before she knew it, she had offers to collaborate with other well known artists.
Louise was also approached by renowned songwriters who unequivocally offered her their original songs, giving her the right to record their material.

The artist went on to perform at Basingstoke Live where she headlined for Drum n Bass Legend Andy C, with her collaboration track called “Can’t kick the Habit”. Shortly after, another track called “XY Time” was aired on Radio 1.

Recently Louise was performing at a private birthday party, where amongst the guests, there happen to be, Andrea Gottardo and Juliana Storace of Gottardo- Storace Musica . They were totally enthralled and mesmerized by her expressive, powerful and melodic way of interpreting Emeli Sunde’s ‘Clown’. ‘’It’s been a hell of a long time since anyone brought tears to my eyes in this way’’ commented Juliana. To which Andrea responded, ‘what about me, look!!!’’, he exclaimed, pointing at the goose bumps on his arms. Needless to say, they instantly approached Louise and arranged a meeting.
Gottardo-Storace Musica has since signed Louise for a Production and Management deal.
‘‘We have been inundated with high quality songs from top songwriters mainly from UK and the States. We have enough material to produce at least 3 albums’’!!
In the meantime they’ve created a massive buzz around especially in the States and Europe. There are a few ‘heavyweights’ waiting to hear all about the next chapter.
All three are busying themselves preparing Louise’s debut album.
