Unpainted Souls is a band that strives for authenticity. Their music seeks to communicate the unadulterated beauty and sorrows of a forward-journeyed life. Though they have been crafting original music together for years, Here And Yon marks the band’s first studio release. A great characteristic of the debut album, like the band, is the varied sounds and moods it depicts. And yet, there is a consistent quality and sound found throughout the songs that is unmistakably Unpainted Souls' own. Here And Yon weaves a story musically and lyrically of love lost, love sought, and love found.

This album is birthed from a newfound relationship with our producer and collaborator, Joshua Carney. The collaborative energy of the band and producer comes through as you listen. Here And Yon captures the band's live energy and tight-knit playing, while also making space for additional textures, like the dobro heard on the opening track, "Many Miles Away", or the guest piano played on a couple of songs by producer, Joshua Carney. Brooding tracks like "Bitter To The Bone" or "All That Matters" are juxtaposed with a heavy guitar-driven track like "Loser" or thumping head-bobbers like "Gonna Make you Mine" and "Hide Your Heart Away." Ballads, folk tales, gospel tones… it's all here for you to listen and enjoy.

This album releases to the general public on June first, but Unpainted Souls will be hosting an album release show with guests The RXN and Kevin Morris on Saturday, May 20, where the band will pre-sale the Here And Yon album for all who attend. To further promote the album and the show, the band will also be live on the air on Community Conscious Radio station WMNF (88.5 FM) Thursday, May 18. On the air, you will hear live music and the debut airplay of tracks from Here And Yon, as well as more stories and information about the band, the album, and the upcoming release show.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
