Gene Triesch, a former U. S. Army officer, high school teacher, coach and business owner, took a sincere interest in Bible study, then allowed God to take the wheel. He and his wife, LaVada, write and perform gospel music around the country.

Local Author, Gene Triesch, off to a good start!

Gene Triesch, born and raised in Blanco, TX, a 1965 graduate of Texas A&M University, a former U. S. Army officer, high school teacher, coach and business owner (Big B Auto Sales & The Deutsch Apple), took a sincere interest in the study of the Bible and Bible prophecy, then allowed God to take the reins. Along with the country gospel music ministry, Menorah Music, which was launched in 2004, came the sharing of the importance of Bible prophecy and how it relates to the nation of Israel in modern times. This teaching ultimately resulted in the compilation of notes and information and the inspiration from the Lord to put it in book form, hence, his book, TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES: THE BATTLE FOR BEULAH LAND. TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES relates a brief history of the Church and how she has related to the Jewish people over the past 2000 years along with the disastrous consequences of that relationship. The recent history of Israel tells us that God’s plan and purpose are as relevant today as in the days of Isaiah the prophet. (See Isaiah 46:9-10) This book is a must read for all Christians who believe that the Holy Bible is the word of God.

The Triesches have been busy with several book signing events at Hastings Entertainment stores, held during May 2009, in San Marcos, Kerrville, New Braunfels, and College Station, and also The Twig Book Shop in San Antonio, promoting the new book. An appearance on The Light of the Southwest Show on God’s Learning Channel is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, at 8:00 p.m. with Al and Tommie Cooper, co-founders of Prime Time Christian Broadcasting located in Odessa, TX. The couple will be interviewed about Gene’s book, TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES: The Battle for Beulah Land, The Church in a Rearview Mirror and also Menorah Music Ministry. The show can be seen locally via the internet by logging onto the GLC website, http://www.glc.us.com, where it is a live streaming broadcast. Gene and his wife, LaVada, write and perform gospel music around the country with three albums to their credit. The couple has just recently won Vocal Duo of the Year – 2009 by the South Texas Gospel Music Association, a San Antonio based organization, having received this award in 2005 and also Songwriter of the Year – 2006.
