"the most fascinating singer and songwriter in the blues today" Wasser Prawda, Germany

Sunday Wilde acclaimed for her powerful primal and intense vocals and unique self taught piano style brings you her fifth recording with subjects that range from loneliness, love, anger, blame and more.

This selection of 13 songs range from dirty blues, blues country, blues ballad, a bit of electric, a bit of acoustic and even some pop. The album is Sunday’s first recording with drums throughout. But no matter which genre you prefer, it is Sunday’s unique vocals and lyrical delivery that make it come together as an emotional story from start to finish.

“Handle Me”, is a sexy demanding “come hither” tune about a woman who knows well that there is only one man that can handle her.

A plaintive trumpet brings a fresh interpretation to “Sunday's Midnight Blues”, a slow melancholy moody piece baring our thoughts of troubles in the night.

“Crying Shame” is a bare bones stripped down to guitar, bass and drums talking about the grief of being in love with a man that can't do right by her.

There are also some fresh takes on classic covers; Bessie Smith's Black Mountain Blues, a quicker eerie version of this vintage blues tune. Patsy Cline's I Fall To Pieces, maintains the original feel and mood and her acapella take of Richard Hall's Walk With Me Lord, which was also done by Ruth Brown on Gospel Time.

The album boasts some seasoned multi genre musicians from around North America, from downtown Toronto, Canada to the Twin Cities in Minnesota, to Dallas, Texas and to small town Canada. Reno jack on upright bas, Carol Dierking on drums, Little Bobby on guitar and with additional musicians filling in some colour: Bobby J Marks on trumpet (Twin Cities, Rythym Circus) Jimmy Wallace on Saxophone (Minneapolis, Jimmy Wallace Ensemble) and Dan Dahlin on drums (Thief River Falls, Little Bobby and the Storm).

Recorded and Engineered by Untouchable Productions in Thief River Falls.
