RECORDED at a HUNTING LODGE in Northern Ontario, BRANCHE"S SEINE RIVER LODGE in Fall of 2012. Album is on ITUNES and MORE

Sunday wilde’s 4th release steps out of the blues onto the edge of a variety of roots music with her new album, recorded in the wilds of Northern Ontario at a remote hunting lodge. “Down the Road Alone” the first track in the selection of songs, is a slow blues tune capturing the re-mote sadness of living in the north. Another is a fast rollin’ rockin blues number, "Shaken down” stands out in the mix with the story of a woman deceived by a lover. Roots flavoured “There was a time” in a 50’s city style where a woman moves on from what she thought was real love, but it wasn’t.

Within the selection is a love song that will resonate with many “No matter how far” a delicate vocal that speaks to a long distance love.Sunday shares her distinct vocals and emotion-ally charged lyrics with a creative team of musi-cians with this new album. David West, international guitarist, plays instinctively on every piece, subtly colouring with riffs gleaned from his world knowledge of music.

Seasoned upright jazz player, Rory Slater also joins in to add solid jazz flair. Guest musicians include, Sunday’s son Dawson Paulson who plays percussion drum brushes on a vintage metal mailbox. Virgil Denmark adds interesting violin pieces giving it an eerie and often classical flair and Janice Matichuk on accordion, and Reno jack plays acoustic guitar and artistically puts the “Sun Studio” sound on the project as producer.

Sunday’s last album, also available on CDBABY received international accolades and awards such as the IMA’s Voters Choice Award for Best Blues Song, and is listed in the Roots Music Report Top 100 Blues Albums of 2011and continues to be played on worldwide roots and blues stations. She has recently won Best Female Blues Act of the Year on SevernFM (UK), was the only Canadian Blues Woman to record at the inaugural International Women in Blues in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
